In ancient Greek mythology, Sirens were often depicted as half-woman, half-bird creatures living on rocky islands by the sea.
With their remarkable voices, they song to pirates from the sea; ships drifting, crashing against the rocks, and breaking apart.
Formed through the slow interaction of sea, sound and rock at Siren Rocks, Foca Izmir, Solid Feather reveals the temporal traces of matter; its constant negotiation between stability and change, and explores the evolving relationship between matter and body.
Fine art prints are produced on Hahnemuhle FineArt paper.
