Meronomy - A Part and Whole

Meronomy: meronym (a part of something) + holonym (the whole to which the part belongs)
Each part and form is reshaped beyond its visible boundaries through perception. The meaning of a form is not fixed in its existence or in the whole it belongs to; it is constantly redefined in a flow. While order governs things, chaos is inevitable, allowing forms to transcend their boundaries. Is the whole the sum of its parts or more than that? Every repetition recreates the part, diverging each time. The body, a part of this order, is a chaotic field of creation.

The universe’s rhythm is a non-linear cycle. In this timelessness, perception creates a transient time-space. The body and nature are in constant transformation, not remaining fixed. Each part calls the whole, yet separates from it with its unique existence. This endless cycle consists of reflective beings, where each form retains its essence while hinting at another. Time and space blur, defining existence as a rhythmic, ever-changing flow. (Lens Culture Artweeks 2024, Simbart Projects ,Beymen Art Collection, Royal Photographic Society IPE 165)
